Microsoft Hyper-V
Enable Hyper-V to create virtual machines on Windows. (That’s right, if you’re using Windows, Hyper-V is already installed!) Hyper-V can be enabled in many ways including using the Windows control panel, PowerShell or using the Deployment Imaging Servicing and Management tool (DISM). This document walks through each option.
Fusion or Workstation
Run Windows, Linux and other virtual machines with VMware Workstation Pro for Windows and Linux or VMware Fusion for Mac, the industry standard desktop hypervisors.
