We have currently 2 main operating systems for cell phones, iOS and Android. Google is doing its thing while Microsoft’s Surface Dou is breathing it’s last breaths as Microsoft steps back from the cell phone industry again. There have been no complaints from me about a Windows phone except the store was lacking. Seemed that was the excuse everyone used to not get one in that they were waiting for it to be updated. The adaptability of Windows between various devices was amazing and worked as we all saw Windows on phones, our Consoles, PC’s, tablets and smart TV’s. Walking into one of my English classes to hear the professor announce a change in the Essay we all wrote, it was easy for me to open my cell phone, make the changes through the one drive and email the change to myself to post before class started. I saved my grade! I will miss my Windows Phone and almost had a whole ceremony when I packed my Surface Dou back into it’s box.
iOS is what I have now, its integration with its own Apple network and their offerings are quite extensive. Boasting the latest technology Apple has done a great job keeping aps and systems stable on their network. Apple has given in to having Microsoft products available in their store, I actually like the availability of the Microsoft aps with the technology of iOS system. It’s taken me a while to get back into having a modern iPod again, but I’m getting used to it. Considering just keeping the iPhone for a phone only and having nothing else Apple.
Android has been my go to for the longest time, Samsung has been my favorite lately with Motorola being a runner up just because I had Motorola phones before Samsung became a thing. I don’t miss the aps crashing or maybe more options than what I needed. I do miss the Android Calendar that is far superior for some reason and it seems the camera on the phones just aren’t as good as an Apple.
All 3 OS’s have their strengths and weaknesses, being a person that plays with things, I will probably switch off my iPhone and be back into my Samsung in about another year.
