Born from a vision to create a haven where my kids and their friends could gather, game, learn, forge friendships, and become part of an incredible global community!

This endeavor is the result of countless hours of self-learning and invaluable assistance from engineers at Intel, a datacenter in Sacramento, California, and experts around the world.

It all began with my kids’ simple desire for a Minecraft server to play on. Then, they wanted their friends to join after school. Next, those friends wanted to come over and play in person. And just like that, the Garage LAN was born!
